The Alfriston Village Project

We’re currently working in partnership with Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities on the early phase planning of Alfriston Village, an innovative new residential neighbourhood in South Auckland’s greenbelt that aims to deliver high-quality affordable homes, excellent community amenity, and easy access to retail, employment hubs and schools.

South Point
652 Great South Road

Southpoint Manukau is a major retail hub in south Auckland, comprising an anchor tenant, specialty retail office and hospitality. The project is anchored by a 4,300m2 supermarket, with an additional 4,000m2 of bulk retail and 25 smaller tenants split over two levels of retail and office space. Windermere delivered the project from conception to completion over a five year period in a difficult consenting environment.

A large scale development which enhances this area around Great South Road.

Pukekohe Plaza
Auckland

Pukekohe Plaza was conceived and successfully delivered by Windermere in 2010. At 23,000m2, the project is the largest commercial development to date in Pukekohe. The centre is anchored by a 7,500m2 Farmers store, 3,000m2 of office pre-let to a national accountancy firm, and a multi-storey car parking building providing over 400 car parks.

Kmart Retail Centre
Invercargill

Windermere delivered Invercargill’s Kmart led retail centre in December 2019. The new centre is anchored by a 5,300m2 Kmart, with St. Pierres, Muffin Break, Shake Shed and other popular retail brands adding another 1,000m2 to the project.

This Kmart centre is a magnet for other complementary retailers.

Bay Plaza Shopping Centre Hastings

Windermere purchased Bay Plaza in 2010. Upon acquisition an extensive renovation project was undertaken to modernise the property and expand the retail offering. With renovations complete the Plaza is trading at record levels and is central to meeting community and commercial needs in Hastings. Bay Plaza continues to be owned and managed by Windermere

Ministry of Education
Whangarei

Windermere was the developer behind the first purpose-built Northland headquarters for the Ministry of Education. Construction commenced onsite in mid-2019 and was completed in August 2020. The building provides 2,000m2 of premium office space, along with an onsite café and car park.

Windermere careful planning makes this Ministry of Education project efficient and successful.

Invercargill

Windermere is proud to be delivering a second office building for the Ministry of Education, in central Invercargill. The Ministry will act as the anchor tenant of this brand new, highly specified employment hub. The project is currently under development with completion expected in late 2023.

A new government commissioned project helps secure local employment.

Waipapa Business Park Kerikeri

The Waipapa Business Park is a 3.5ha land subdivision project on the outskirts of Kerikeri. Completion titles have been issued and range from 3,000 to 4,000 sqm and provide a much needed supply of industrially zoned property in Waipapa. Many lots have been sold and work is underway, while others have been retained and will be used for prelet purpose-built industrial premises.

Regional towns like Kerikeri benefit from this new amenity.

Oak Junction Retail Centre Auckland

A convenience retail development anchored by a Tier 2, Z fuel station in Takanini, Auckland. Delivered in conjunction with the Z station was a range of retail offerings including Burger Fuel, Tank, gastro pub Good Home and Dunkin’ Donuts.
